Public Update – Arrests in Thirsk

This afternoon, you may have noticed increased police activity in and around Thirsk. Officers were responding to a sighting of a male suspect wanted for shop theft. During the search, we also received information from the public about another wanted individual, Aaron Telford, who many of you may recognise from our recent Facebook post.

Thanks to swift action and assistance from the community, both males have now been arrested—one following a brief attempt to hide and the other after a short pursuit.
